GrooveCru is self taught in audio production and mainly uses FLStudio 20 but has started using more vintage hardware such as the ASR10, Mpc3000, Roland VP-9000, ASR X Pro and others.

Speaking on his history with the art form, the rising artist from Kansas City says, “My love for music started in church when I first recalled hearing and seeing someone play the drums. I wanted to be a DJ after watching one of my favourite movies in Juice. I begin making music when a childhood friend introduced me to Fruity Loops 3 back in 99 and I been making music on the computers I had since then.”

The visionary producer leaves us with the powerful statement, “Music is language that connects the world…”
