The track boasts a luscious, captivating chorus as Angelina narrates a tale of sensory chaos and love with cinematic elegance. The lyrics are visually immersive, transporting us to a 70s universe with incense circulating the air, a vinyl spinning on the turntable and candle wax-drenched kitchen tables.

Then the Disco Jazz Explosion version taps into notions of freedom – giving Studio 54 vibes! Funky piano runs with propulsive grooves and vibrant percussion invite vocal improvisation, allowing Angelina to “go crazy with the lyrics” in a celebration of love and spontaneity.

We appreciate the authenticity and chemistry between Glam Sam and Angelina, a collaboration born from admiration and creative curiosity. The dual versions highlight the versatility of both contributing artists, infusing their genre expansive nature into a modern yet timeless sound.

The cinematic quality of the single is undeniable, perfect for a range of Hollywood sync deals. The artwork which was crafted by Angelina’s father Johnny Grimshaw, also adds another layer – reflecting the bold and emotive nature of the music itself.

We learn that Glam Sam (also known as multidisciplinary artist Mats Samuelsson) first discovered Angelina’s voice whilst listening to the debut LP from the Monks Road Social project. Impressed by her unique voice, Mats reached out to Angelina directly, saying that her voice “bowled me over”, and that he “just had to work with her.” That message sparked this collaboration, and some more – eventually manifesting the double A-side.
