]]> Rather irritatingly dubbed as Japan’s answer to Lady Gaga (yes, we have heard this cliche oversell a thousand times before), I wanted to take three minutes (one for reading this, two for watching the video) to introduce you to Mademoiselle Yulia, the electro DJ and fashion muse from Tokyo’s party circuit, who is about to break the Western world…if this blog post has anything to do with it.

I am sold. Forget the Gaga comparison, and picture Yulia as a unique product; the authenticity and raw talent are both there, she has the look (apparently keeping the hair blue…for now) and the edge. Did I mention that I was sold? Here is her debut single Gimme Gimme, the video is directed by FAFI. Her debut album “Mademoworld” drops on October 3rd.
