Here’s the first look at the new campaign images featuring Georgia May Jagger by Juergen Teller for Vivienne Westwood’s ‘Gainsborough Collection’ – a fine jewellery line made of Palladium that debuted at Paris Fashion Week S/S13. It is inspired by her paper jewellery collection, which she first introduced in her 2000/2001 Gold Label collection. Just a few weeks ago it was unveiled via the Material Girl Facebook page that Georgia May Jagger would be the new face of Madonna and Lola’s AW12 campaign. The campaign creative casts Jagger as the ultimate VIP, capturing her getting “all access” at Madonna’s MDNA concert. Photographed by Brooke Nipar at the actual rehearsal for Madonna’s MDNA tour at Nassau Coliseum in May, the campaign showcases Jagger behind-the-scenes, on stage, and in the wardrobe room.

digital exhibition: karl lagerfeld and carine roitfeld present la petite veste noire/the little black jacket

Creative icons Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld have teamed up to create a book and digital exhibition featuring one star – the little black Chanel jacket. That which, according to Lagerfeld, “symbolises a timelessly fashionable form of nonchalant feminine elegance: [which] belongs to every era”.

The exhibition features over a hundred models and celebrities, all photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and styled by Carine Roitfeld. These include Sarah Jessica Parker, Daphne Guinness, Georgia May Jagger, Alice Dellal, Maïwenn, Laetitia Casta, Virginie Ledoyen, Baptiste Giabiconi, Uma Thurman, Kirsten Dunst, Akuol de Mabior and more. The images for the project were shot in Cannes, in the South of France, and then in New York, before finishing up in Paris in Karl Lagerfeld’s studio.
