First Look: Lady Gaga in American Horror Story

Words cannot express how excited the world is for the new season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story and the previews and teasers just keep on giving. EW just premiered the official first look at Lady Gaga in her new TV role alongside the rest of the cast and what can I say, it looks phenomenal. Some of the plot has also been unveiled by Mr Murphy including the following highlight on Gaga’s character ‘The Countess’. I really don’t want to spoil the rest for you!

…The owner of the titular Hotel Cortez, The Countess is a glamorous but deadly creature who sustains on a healthy diet of sex and blood — she kills with her very fashionable but very sharp chainmail glove. “She’s extremely strong,” explains Gaga. “She’s been through so much. It’s kind of impossible for anything to penetrate her.”

There are certain magazines that have helped shape the cultural landscape of creative media and pop. BLAG is one of them. Created and founded by Sally A. Edwards and Sarah J. Edwards in 1992, the eponymous title is now celebrating its 20th Anniversary with an issue like no other.

Here is the first look at the front and back covers of the Collectors Edition featuring Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace, photographed by Sarah.

Erm, I had no idea this was coming out so soon. It is almost as exciting as the Garbage promo video that hit last night. Courtney looks incredible and the song is so on point for this season. The video was directed by Alphan Eseli.

Do you remember the Nicola Formichetti pop up shop that I told you about back in May? Well, it’s almost here. It opens on September 8 in NYC at 57 Walker Street in Tribeca. Here is the first look image (via The Cut) at the rendering for the shop, designed by architects Mark Foster Gage and Marc Clemenceau Bailly of Gage/Clemenceau.

first look: versace for H&M collaboration

Early this morning, it was announced on Facebook and Twitter that Versace would be the next high fashion brand to collaboration with H&M – contrary to how she felt about diffusion lines/collaborations in 2008.

Last night, Donatella Versace took to the catwalk after the Versace menswear show at Milan Fashion Week to showcase one of the pieces. Check it out below, along with the behind the scenes video on the announcement. The collection, for men and women, is available from 17 November.
