The opus has an almost psychedelic, William Orbit energy which is entirely captivating. The metaphorical prose adds a sense of wanderlust to the already trippy and dreamy production. Needless to say, we are in awe.

There is no doubt that Fever would be perfect for a range of sync deals – the new Cruel Intentions series, or perhaps an episode of Euphoria on HBO. We love the hypnotic indie-rock groove that comes to life.

We learn that the song is produced by Michael Smith (Wolf Alice, Delights), creating an urgent yet spacious vibe where every note breathes and the tension never fades. It’s a driving, addictive anthem that lingers long after it ends.

We can only imagine how exquisite this would be in a live setting, so just as well the band has a wave of gigs coming up, headlining venues across the UK including The Lexington in London, Rough Trade in Nottingham, Headrow House in Leeds, and YES in Manchester.

Frontman Will Brown delivers lyricism that burns with conviction. As for its message, Fever is his declaration of self-belief serving as a reminder to ignore negativity and chase what you love without apology.
