The opus expands with psychedelic, astral synth riffs and textured drums to form a cohesive and dynamic tapestry of sound as Eva No shares a bountiful pop concept with captivating hooks and a cerebral design.

The vocal production is intricate and the mix is pristine – of course this is explained when we learn that Eva No is Swedish! We appreciate the message of Mind Reader, which in essence explores the quiet intensity of emotional connection.

Eva shares how it focuses on notions of intuition, unspoken understanding and the invisible threads that bind people together. The rising artist perfectly captures the feeling of sensing someone’s thoughts and emotions without words in a highly dramatic and dance-floor ready manner. The chord choices are epic and tap into a high emotional quotient, this really comes through with the middle eight which reminds us of Kylie Minogue.

Drawing from her own lived experience, the inspiration behind Mind Reader comes from Eva No’s fascination with emotional intuition and the subtle dynamics of the human engagement.

Mind Reader was written by Eva Nordell and produced by Peter Hägerås. Eva No is a Swedish singer-songwriter based in Stockholm who has been building an international following since 2019. Originally performing in a local band, she later emerged as a solo artist, delivering a fresh and distinctive voice to contemporary pop.
