I got back from LA two days ago to what are essentially the sunniest days in London, but have been working on a project in somewhat of a basement which has been the most liberating artistic experience I have had to date, which I will share on here this Summer, I promise.

So after two days in a basement, Alex, Mimi and I broke onto the roof of my apartment building (again), to enjoy the sun and shoot some videos – and this time security didn’t ream us out and practically evict me from the premises and call the cops.

From a fashion credits perspective, I’ve been teaming up with sunglasses brand HOOK LDN lately which I am obsessed with (as you’ve probably seen on my Snapchat and when I was in LA in February). Here I am wearing the Parklife Blacks, teamed with Replay Jeans, the trucker hat from a gas station on La Cienega, one of our Ada + Nik sleeveless cropped army jackets and my favourites forever – Palladium Boots.

In other pop news, Pepsi Max Cherry has teamed up with the one and only and incredibly talented Charli XCX to bring to life their #LiveForNow Taste Revolution campaign (side note: you might last year’s immersive experience with Pepsi Max Cherry in London). Charli XCX has lent her creative flair to what is being dubbed “GIF-iti art” in collaboration with artist INSA. Charli described the taste of Pepsi Max Cherry as “roaring through icy glaciers with pink cherry lips and glittery diamond eyes” which inspired INSA to create an image of a wolf roaring across an icy pink and blue backdrop. Directed by Darren Craig comes the video for the BRILLIANT Blessings by Big Sean featuring Drake and Kanye. It’s a minimalist piece (despite the Beats by Dre promo which at this point is inescapable in any pop video), Kanye’s entrance isn’t as epic as it is on the track but it works, it really works.
