The opus expands with a delicate timbre and seductive energy as Jennifer Silva paints a sublime and charismatic portrait of the Cruel Mistress. Speaking on the message behind the song, Jennifer tells us, “This song is about how karma always has the final word. It’s dark and playful at the same time – a mix of glamour, danger, and the reminder that nothing comes without consequence.”

We are in awe of the cinematic allure that Cruel Mistress manifests. Jennifer’s poetic prowess and seductive timbre make the track perfect for a range of sync deals – an episode of HBO‘s Euphoria, Amazon‘s recent series, The Girlfriend, perhaps even a sequel to Gone Girl.

The hypnotic track shimmers with tension, bringing to life this tale of temptation, betrayal and the sting of karma. We learn that the track was produced and mixed by Jonny Taylor at The Beacon AV Lab, and mastered by Matthew Agoglia at The Ranch Mastering.
