Drawing us in with elegant keys and a poetic vocal timbre, Cormac opens his cover of Sia‘s Titanium with the memorable opening prose from the inspirational opus, “You shout it out, but I can’t hear a word you say, I’m talking loud, not saying much…I’m criticized, but all your bullets ricochet
Shoot me down, but I get up… I’m bulletproof, nothing to lose, fire away, fire away…”

Now let’s take a moment to truly appreciate the penmanship of Sia, who is undoubtedly one of the finest songwriters to grace planet Earth. The track talks about finding inner strength even when the world seems too dark and challenging. We also deeply connect with Cormac‘s interpretation of the song, and the tangible depth that he shares with his charismatic, emotive vocal.

We learn that this cover of Titanium re-unites Cormac with Jon Cohen, the arranger and producer of his debut album with Decca in 2020, called Hear My Voice. The intention of the creators was to slow down the originally EDM release, to allow us to soak up the meaning, and the cover does just that!

To convey the message of the song, Cormac also collaborated with award-winning Irish filmmaker, Sean Treacy, whom he met at Prodigy Camp in the USA last Summer. The cinematic music video shows a dancer struggling with her performances and mental health before fighting back and finishing up triumphant!
