In advance of the unveiling of the campaign imagery of brad Pitt as the first male face of CHANEL N°5. The brand (and world’s most famous fragrance) tells its story online at Inside-Chanel.com in Chapter 1: the legend of N°5. From creation to ad campaigns and the various pioneering moves that the scent has offered consumers through time, the beautifully edited clip included archive imagery including Marilyn, the Warhol exhibition and sketches of the original bottles and formula.
In related news, Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’s photographic exhibition for CHANEL’s La Petite Veste Noir is coming to London at The Saatchi Gallery this Friday. 113 photographs, modelled on a range of friends of the House, with each personality adapting the garment to reflect their own inimitable style will be featured from Friday 12th October to Sunday 28th October 2012.
