With poetic prowess, the rising artist from Chicago sings vulnerably, “I watched the world as it left me, via train and underground, back to a place I don’t belong”, as the song expands to tell the story of “examining relationships and understanding that the best path for you might not be the one you are already on.”

With high concept lyricism and enigmatic vocals, Ceyeo says, “This is a single to convey the fluent nature of relationships of all kinds and the idea that not everything is meant to last.”

One of our favourite lyrics from the composition is Ceyeo‘s reference to oneness as he wisely sings, “Everything is connected, everything carries weight…”

When discussing his intentions as an artist, Ceyeo’s aim is to “make music which ranges from upbeat calls to be better stewards of our planet to intense anthems about psychological disorders and social abandonment.” It is clear that he is creating a universe of his own, and we are here for it!
