The song expands with the directional yet introspective lyrics, “Please hit pause, someone freeze the frame, what if life was just a series of the same commands, what if, what then…”

REPROGRAM ME touches upon themes of a simulated reality, empowerment, the human condition, self-realization and the broader concept of unlearning so that we can improve our collective experience.

The song is presented in a unique format, elaborating on his artistry, Brendan Bradley says, “I’m releasing the first ever Musical Theater Soundtrack, workshopped and performed entirely LIVE in virtual reality. Imagine if a Disney movie came to life and interacted with the audience in a perfect mix of Broadway, Video Games, Pop and Comedy. A non-player character in a video game witnesses the death of the Hero and turns to the audience to navigate the five stages of grief (represented as five virtual worlds).”

REPROGRAM ME is a charming, electro-pop single with a profound meaning. Fans of Disney and other musicals will definitely be able to connect with REPROGRAM ME, although it is clear that Brendan Bradley is creating a universe of his own.

In the story, the NPC character witnesses the death of the Hero and asks the audience to “reprogramme” so they don’t have to navigate their grief alone.

Brendan Bradley sees a future where this experience could energize art-house audiences in theatre type settings, similar to cult classics like The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Frozen Sing-Along, combining live performers, cinema, audience participation and sing-alongs.
