The Swedish duo share that their intention is to take us on “a musical journey to capture the authentic feeling and sonic essence of every story they tell.” They add, “Working together, we strive to reach the true heartbeat of the song. We don’t just play the music; we let the blue PandA live through it.”

As for the message of the song, Anette and Peter tell us, “Bargain For A Little More Light mirrors the cynicism of modern ambition. The song portrays the protagonist as a merchant of their own soul – someone constantly negotiating, calculating profit, and ignoring the silence behind the noise – a vivid picture of a character who believes they are winning, while becoming increasingly isolated by their own design.”

We love the high concept nature of the prose, and the intentional way that blue PandA are creating. There is no doubt that Bargain For A Little More Light would be a great fit for films like Nightcrawler, There Will Be Blood, the upcoming American Psycho TV series, or Succession and Peaky Blinders.

Sonically, the duo cite Arctic Monkeys and The National as peers, which we can feel come to life, although there is no doubt that blue PandA are on a musical adventure of their own.
