Speaking on the release, Benjamin confesses, “Pyromane is about the ambiguous sweetness at the heart of the inferno — where love and its excesses burn gently rather than destroy. I wanted the delicacy of the strings to contrast with the fiery title, so the song carries both tenderness and passion. With Brazilian rhythms, handclaps, and castanets, it becomes almost like a dance around the flames – a fire that warms the soul instead of consuming it.”
