Opening with enigmatic and transformative keys with light percussion, we are immediately hypnotized by the Astral 22 Remix of Topnachbeats‘ song Never.

The song takes us on a journey, summarising us at first, giving us dramatic sirens fused with mysterious melodies as the songs expands with a refined and poetic kick.

Cinematic parallels can be drawn from the composition, which features a synth as the main protagonist with a unique riff that will stay in your head all day. This was present in the original version, but is more amplified in the remix. We could see this in a Sin City movie!

Speaking on the creation of the track, Astral 22 says, “While remixing Never, I wanted to retain the beauty of the original with its ‘Art of Noise’ cascading soothing melody and a kind of ‘Mantronix’ old school hip hop meets modern day electronic vibe, yet come with something fresh which honors the original but stands on its own.”

`He continues, “I opted to go back to my own musical roots and give it a soul groove and funk bass. I felt like anime meets surreal psychedelic artwork would take the listener where I always go when listening on repeat.”

We love the anime meets psychedelic description for the track, as it really has a multi-dimensional vibe that is soothing and sensual at the same time.
