Set for release in summer 2011, here is the trailer for Animal Charm, a garish and macabre tale about fame, fashion and revenge starring Sadie Frost as the deranged and sadistically stylish Miss Anne Thrope, a fame hungry, ex-fashion mogul with a controversial lust for fur, and Sally Philips (Smack the Pony, Bridget Jones Diary) as her mobility-scooter-powered nemesis, Audrey Hoober.

The Plot

During her performance in a tasteless musical based on Animal Farm, ex fashion designer and fur fanatic, Anne Thrope is kidnapped by a group of animal activists led by her nemesis, Audrey Hoober (Sally Phillips). However, have the activists bitten off more than they can chew? With the help and hindrance of Thrope’s put upon assistant, Verdell, the police close in on the kidnappers. But is too late? And is it Anne that needs salvation?

Notable actors co-starring in the short include Ugly Betty’s Michael Urie and Boy George, keep your eyes peeled for other cameo appearances from British underground figures and clubland celebrities.
