We are immediately intrigued by the rising artist from Atlanta who has an eloquent and intelligent flow, brilliant production and an emotive narrative.

After landing the number one spot on the LGBT Urban Charts for 10 weeks with his single Whatchu On, 2am Ricky became the first Black Trans artist to top any music chart. How iconic.

Speaking on the release of Hues, 2am Ricky says, “I wanted to return with a record that my audience could directly relate to. Hues is a nostalgic, 90s type of record, perfect for any R&B or date night playlist!”

We love 2am Ricky‘s lyricism and one of our favourite lines includes the profound, “Running from mentioning, the pain that you sit in, then say I don’t listen, when talks are hot, love how you soothe, traumas moods…” and the intimate “Thoughts of forever with you, thought of a wedding and dresses for proof…”
