June 27 is simply too far away. Here is the trailer for Season 7 of Weeds. Those of you that watched Season 6 will most likely concur when I say that it was the best season that the show had to offer. I’ve heard rumours and a couple of spoilers (as much as I try to avoid them – industry habit) about Season 7 and the plot sounds immense. Google is your friend if you want to know more, but until June 27 on Showtime, I’ll leave you with the brilliant trailer – under the cut.
BLAG presents: estelle, david banner & daley in ‘benz’
Published April 19, 2011One of my favourite magazines/media brands, BLAG, run by the gorgeous Sarah and Sally Edwards, has just collaborated with Mercedes Benz to bring us a very cool project/track/music video featuring Estelle, David Banner and Daley, aptly called – Benz. The video was directed by the BLAG Twins themselves and the track is inspired by Janis Joplin’s classic to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Mercedes. In a digitally savvy move, the artists will be performing in Shanghai tonight and it will live stream over here at 3am UK / 10pm EST / 7pm PST. The current issue of BLAG is available to buy now. Check out the video under the cut.

new music: beyonce – girls (who run the world) – final version
Published April 19, 2011The official/non-demo version of Beyonce’s new single ‘Girls (Who Run The World)’ finally hit today. Albeit in a somewhat unofficial/leaked capacity. Columbia Records REALLY needs to get on it and push this for immediate download, otherwise it will simply not sell. Sony and Interscope are really leading the industry in this immediate digital consumerism era. The song is super uptempo and samples Major Lazer (i.e. Diplo + Switch). I’m cool with this, it works. Check it out under the cut.
