Check out a really intense four minute preview of Lady Gaga’s HBO special under the cut. As much as generalists are looking for the “real Lady Gaga’ and no matter how adamant she is that what we see is “the real Lady Gaga” (take the NME interview for example) – behind the scenes pieces to camera, that are raw and not traditionally fabricated are the closest we are going to get.

Note the Madonna teeth as part of her look for this – this is probably where they shot that clip for the end of the Born This Way video to address the “Express Yourself” rip-off speculation.

The full two hour special will air on HBO on May 7 – as part of the album’s promo.
