The fact that two major Snow White films are hitting at the same time is somewhat exciting. One is being directed by feature newcomer Rupert Sanders, the other by the iconic, incredible and beyond talented Tarsem Singh.
The Singh version is set to be more fantasy-based and has been described as a “comedic adventure” – in other words, totally different from the dark overtones of Sanders’ Huntsman (trailer under the cut). Critics will most likely favour the Sanders version due to its more serious nature, but the visuals and cinematography of Mirror Mirror look (unsurprisingly) incredible, let’s hope that the plot an humour don’t let it down.
