Preview: The Great Gatsby Soundtrack featuring Lana Del Rey and Beyonce
Published April 4, 2013The first preview of the highly anticipated soundtrack for The Great Gatsby has arrived! The soundtrack is executively produced by Jay-Z and features Beyonce and Andre 3000 covering Amy Winehouse‘s “Back to Black,” a track by Lana Del Rey called ”Young and Beautiful” (originally intended for Born to Die) plus the new Florence & The Machine track “Over the Love”. You can hear snippets of all three on the preview video below.
The soundtrack also features Jay-Z himself, will.i.am, Fergie, Q-Tip, Florence and the Machine, Emeli Sande, The xx, Gotye, Jack White, Nero, Sia(!) and more. Full list under the cut.
The first official single from the soundtrack will be Lana’s “Young and Beautiful” (you might have noticed that her cover of Chelsea Hotel No 2 wasn’t actually for the soundtrack) – the video drops on 22 April with the full album out on 7 May.

Chloë Sevigny’s 90s Throwback for NOWNESS
Published March 27, 2013NOWNESS has nailed it with their latest concept. It’s a two day 90s resurgence takeover with everyone’s favourite indie-mainstream-indie icon Chloë Sevigny. From Hedi Slimane’s grunge fashion and Bernadette Corporation art to New Museum’s 1993 exhibition – Sevigny has basically created a personal mash-up of the decade including never-before-seen footage.
