Last night it happened. i-D as a digital platform will never be the same again. Content as we know it has…broken said new ground with the launch of i-D.co. Yes, that is it. Just .co. Phuck your substandard and age-old .com URLs, this is the new new, the new cool, the new everything.
Ok, in all seriousness, it’s actually fucking awesome. The video content previewed (see teaser above) is so hot. Fashion content is unbelievably slick – thank you THANK YOU Danielle Bennison-Brown for tirelessly pioneering to curate all of this brand vision. You deserve so much more acclaim than you are subjected to.
The debut video content features Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne, Rick Owens, Sky Ferreira, Childish Gambino, Lily McMenamy (the legs below), Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Danny Brown and the premiere of M.I.A.’s new video (under the cut) Y.A.L.A. (You Always Live Again) in collaboration with KENZO and directed by Daniel Sannwald. It’s VERY VERY beautifully produced and brings to life the Kenzo collection in a way that is bang on point for the brand.
