We previously featured Chicago hip-hop collective DA-MOVEMENT for the All Black Everything (Remix). Unsurprisingly, the song is now seeing a major wave of success. It is a powerful collaboration featuring AK of Do or Die, Never of Crucial Conflict, and rising artist J. Harris, and since its release, the track has steadily built momentum through strong press coverage and an impressive international radio campaign which has helped push the song into a global spotlight.
As we know, from our previous review, the remix makes a strong statement. The track opens with a rising, siren-like sound that builds tension before dropping into a layered hip-hop production filled with energy and attitude. The result is a powerful soundscape that blends classic Chicago hip-hop with a futuristic edge. The vocals are epic yet confident, and create a triumphant vibe that carries throughout the record.
The collaboration itself is one of the song’s biggest strengths. By bringing together Chicago legends AK and Never with rising star J. Harris, DA-MOVEMENT have created what many critics have called a true “Chicago summit of talent”. The artists bring different styles to the record, yet the chemistry feels natural – their souls blend together seamlessly to celebrate the legacy of Chicago hip-hop.

Production also plays a major role in the song’s success. The beat is crisp, energetic and perfectly balanced, allowing each artist’s voice to shine through, whilst keeping the track moving with high-octane energy. The hook is memorable without feeling forced, making it a song that works equally well in clubs, cars, or on gym playlists.
Critics have responded strongly to the release. Multiple publications have praised the track for its ability to connect hip-hop’s past with its present. Illustrate Magazine described the song as a “reunion of Chicago rap DNA,” whilst Good Music Radar highlighted the way the production blends street-influenced beats with melodic vocal delivery. Senocular Media called it “a certified rap banger”, pointing to its energetic production and charismatic performances.
Other publications emphasized the cultural significance of the record. Hit Harmony Haven described DA-MOVEMENT as a bridge between eras of Chicago hip-hop, honouring the influence of earlier legends while carving out space for a new voice in the genre. Music Earshot echoed that sentiment, describing the remix as a “summit meeting of generations” that reaffirms Chicago’s influence on hip-hop culture.
Beyond the media attention, the track has also gained some serious traction on radio. Early support from independent stations helped ignite the campaign. The song first received airplay on Glacer FM’s Mark & Wayne Show, reaching an audience of roughly four million listeners. Soon after, Dilemaradio in Brooklyn put the record to a listener vote in its “Spin or Bin” segment, where the track received a unanimous 250-to-0 vote to stay in rotation. The Indy Hookup hosted by Heston Cleveland and Ricardo Love featured the song, and they just locked the track into their 22-station syndication roster, which includes KYBN Radio 98.10 FM, Hot 97.5 FM, AMS Radio, and iHeartRadio.

From there, the momentum continued to grow. DJ Chase Radio in Harlem added the track to heavy rotation, helping push it onto global radio spin boards. International stations soon followed, with early support from Da Hub Radio in the United Kingdom and Radio Indieffusione in Italy, which placed the song in 24-hour rotation.
The campaign quickly expanded across multiple countries. Syndicated broadcaster Jae Cabrera helped spread the track across several stations including Indie 101.5 FM, Philly Vibe 101.5, Jamz 95.3 FM, Fluent Radio, Splash 98.5 FM, and Midtown Radio, whilst also interviewing DA-MOVEMENT and Never live on social media to further promote the record.
Today, the remix is being broadcast on dozens of stations worldwide across Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, and Australia. The song’s reach now spans more than 108+ global radio stations worldwide, as well as a multitude of streaming platforms, proving that the classic Chicago sound can still resonate with listeners everywhere.
The numbers support the growing buzz. All Black Everything (Remix) currently ranks in the top 5 percent out of 10,094 tracks worldwide on the Digital DJ Pool, peaking in the Top 40 and gaining spins in clubs from Chicago to New York.
For DA-MOVEMENT, the success represents more than just progress in the charts. It is proof that authentic storytelling, strong collaborations, and respect for hip-hop’s roots can capture global attention. We have added All Black Everything (Remix) back to our New Music Spotlight playlist, as we continue to stream DA-MOVEMENT‘s growing discography, including This Is What It Sound Like, and ALL I NEED IS YOU.
