ESTRADA Music Project shares a high emotional quotient with cinematic and personal new release, Verso Melódico

As huge fans of ESTRADA Music Project, having already featured I Don’t Need To Hide Anymore, You Need To Go First, and You Are Not Alone, we were very curious to experience the latest release from the project, Verso Melódico and its accompanying video.

The overall experience opens with a dimensional frequency and acoustic guitar performance with a panning shot of the interior of a church. This cuts to Alejandro Estrada sharing a high emotional quotient as he performs the Spanish song. Laced with introspection, his prose is metaphorical.

We appreciate the cinematic vibes of the track, reflected by the stunning visuals in an old church and graveyard. The experience is like a movie in itself, but would also be perfect for the soundtrack of a Pedro Almodóvar film.

Alejandro Estrada confesses, “I wrote this song during a pivotal and difficult time in Venezuela, just before leaving my home country. At the time, my wife and I were going through a very challenging period. While we stayed together and moved forward as a family, the song captures the end of a chapter of who I used to be and the emotional weight of that transition.”

We love the lyrics about the moon observing humanity – it is a powerful line that really sums up Alejandro Estrada‘s wider message as a conscious artist. The electric guitar presence that emerges for the finale with looped, atmospheric vocals is sublime – expansive, and emotive at the same time.

He says, “The most special part of this track for me is the guitar – it was composed and recorded by my son. Having his hands on a song about my past as we all look toward our new future together made this project incredibly meaningful.”

The final moments are a heartbeat, a nod back to Alejandro Estrada‘s work in the medical field. A true multi-dimensional hero. We have added Verso Melódico to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream ESTRADA Music Project‘s wider discography, and anticipate future releases.
