Embracing us with a warm, acoustic guitar performance, Michellar opens Love Peace War with a zeitgeist and important perspective as she sings, ‘The world has come to war, and many men have lost their souls, far away from home, and even though we try to mend the lives of either side, they want war, just war…”
Her timbre is delicate and authentic, reminding us of the Michellar that we first featured – the conscious artist for peace and love. She shares the hook, “Love is all that we need to make peace, make peace… Love is all that we need to make peace, make peace…”. This resonates like a mantra. Much needed in these times more than ever.
The opus continues with poignant prose and layered vocals with introspection-laced poetic prowess. The intentional depth is tangible. “Hope we feel amidst our fears…” sings the star with an optimistic energy as she uses her voice for her destined purpose as an artist.

As with a lot of Michellar‘s songs, there is a cinematic allure and the track would be perfect for a film like the sequel to Purple Hearts. The hope and peace that manifests through love energy and singing feels cathartic.
San Francisco-based artist Michellar began songwriting at 15 and returned after a 40-year hiatus. She has quickly reestablished herself, releasing 22 singles in nine months. She was inspired by Bob Dylan and the Ukraine War for this release, which was created with Bay Area producer Robi Bean.
This track previews her upcoming EP Homegrown, set for late Summer. It will feature nostalgic Haight-Ashbury–inspired acoustic tracks created in a low-fi way, reminiscent of the 60s. Needless to say, we cannot wait, and have added Love Peace War to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist!
