We have been experiencing a slew of releases from the incredibly talented Shelita – a powerful and conscious voice who has been further cementing her mark as an artist with songs like the dynamic opus, You Will Want My Love, the manifestation mantra Fade, and the powerful and consciously astute, Bloom, so when we heard that she had also released I’m So In Love With You, which also comes with an epic music video, we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
The song opens with an orchestral-pop energy with cosmic nature sounds and delicate vocals from Shelita as she shares ad libs of the title of the track with the words, “I am so in love with you, don’t you go, I don’t know what I would do, don’t you go…”
We appreciate the pizzicato strings moments and the glistening bells nuances with the textured bass and emotional accompaniment. Shelita‘s delivery is heartfelt and timeless with a cinematic allure – the track would be perfect for a range of sync deals, notably a romantic movie!
I’m So In Love With You is about deep and devoted love. Shelita shares how important her muse is and how much their presence means to her. She fears losing them and repeats that she doesn’t know what she would do if they left.
The lyrics describe how this love feels powerful and magical. Shelita confesses how their soul lights a fire in her and how that their connection feels bigger than the world. As for the music video, it is a cinematic adventure shot at golden hour in the expansive desert where Shelita shares her soul in a stunning blue dress with a long train. It is directed by Shelita Murrell herself with makeup by Sally Creates, and produced by Shelita Murrell and Bellringer. Her presence on camera is awe inspiring and truly does justice to the emotional quotient conveyed in the song. “This is about the kind of connection that changes everything,” confesses Shelita.
