We recently featured Eternal Tone and Iziik as they shared a mantra of conscious resilience with their empowering collaboration track, Here’s to Hoping, so when we heard that Eternal Tone has also released Kodaks with the support of Meaningful Music, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience!
Kodaks opens with a dimensional synthscape, laced with psychedelic intricacies before we experience the introspective lyrics, “The skeletons in my closet, keep me up all night exhausted, I’m surprised I haven’t lost it if I’m telling the truth…”
The opus expands with poetic prowess and a self-reflected energy with an epic high octane flow rivalling rap icons like Twista! The depth of the message is tangible, it is personal yet universal in a lot of ways. We appreciate the catharsis that manifests with the prose and the layered hooks are festival friendly and radio ready!
Eternal Tone says, “This song inspires us to look back at our trials, not as hardships that we’ve been forced to endure, but as opportunities that life has given us to strengthen our hearts, our minds, and our spirit for the better version of ourselves that we are and are to become.”

The visionary artist from McPherson, KS, gives this message real weight. The music radiates hopeless optimism, perseverance, faith and dedication. There is no doubt that Kodaks reflects this mission in a cohesive way. We learn that the single is designed to channel the harmonious, upbeat instrumental work of Kali Katana along with the charismatic R&B influence of Meaningful Music.
We feel inspired and informed, and have added Kodaks to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Eternal Tone including Here’s to Hoping, and anticipate future releases!
