Drawing us in with a sublime and immersive guitar soundscape echoing notions of 90s grunge, layered with cerebral spoken word prose akin to a voice note or inner thoughts, DA//TE opens All That’s Left (stylized as All that’s left) with dimensionality before expanding into a luscious alternative rock energy.
All That’s Left hits with a level of urgency. It has a high octane feel which is driven by sharp guitars and boundless drums. It is raw, emotional and restless – in essence, carrying the weight of the star’s unspoken pain. The lyrics and delivery feel cathartic, as if every word is torn straight from DA//TE‘s heart, filled with poetic prowess and intentionality.
The track leans into a DIY aesthetic, but that only serves as its strength – it’s perfectly produced but with grit and authenticity that add depth to his message. The mix balances clarity with intensity and keeps the edges rough in the best possible way.

We could imagine the track manifesting a number of sync deals – a TV show like HBO‘s Euphoria or a scene from the upcoming reboot of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The song’s immediacy makes it feel alive, as if it is meant to be heard in a packed out rock venue with sweat and feedback in the air.
DA//TE hails from Berlin – he is a multi-disciplinary artist that handles every element of his creative process from writing and playing to mixing and mastering. Fans of Boston Manor or Hot Mulligan will be able to connect with All That’s Left, although there is no doubt that DA//TE is bringing to life a universe of his own.
We have added All That’s Left to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream DA//TE‘s wider discography including In your skin, and Hollow eyes.
