Proklaim has been an artist that we have witnessing rise for a couple of years now. His powerful artistry is cohesive, creating a boundless and important tapestry of work which has a political, social and spiritual essence.
Creepin/Further 2in1 serves as a two part opus, but before spoiling too much, let’s start with Creepin. This opens with ethereal sung vocals, signature to Proklaim’s sound of the title of the first part. It is mystical and this is further cemented by the high octane prose that manifests. Creepin holds a high spiritual quotient.
The track ebbs into a minimalist dimension where we experience the signature ad lib from the star “yebo”, as this leads us into the second part of the song – Further. This brings to life a more dance-floor energy with vibrant depth – cosmic risers and an Amapiano energy which feels optimistic and transformative.
The switch up is genius – and even Proklaim‘s flow feels lighter and full of abundance. It is like going from night to day. The prose is empowering and has a raw energy. We feel like it could be day break on a South African beach after a spiritual rave.

The beats hit hard, but there’s movement and melody too. A sample from the Shaka Zulu mini-series adds drama and depth. It’s a mix of the modern and the historic, raw and refined. The track feels both grounded and elevated.
Recorded at Pen Pushaz Studios and mastered by Wojtek Majewski, Proklaim confesses how the process was fast and instinctive. The star laid verses quickly and let the beats guide the choruses. The result is a track that feels alive and authentic.
Naturally, we have added the two part odyssey to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Proklaim, including PANTHERA, and Permission, and anticipate future releases from the visionary artist.
