We are in awe of the intricacy that manifests from the soundscape, and the melodic details that emerge from the meditative, ethereal moment with female vocals mid-way through the opus. The vocalist sings the title of the track in a way that FKA Twigs would definitely vibe with, before a super organic and bold build with a rhythmic synth and the original ad libs from the first moments of the track.
The vocal samples that echo off into the distant, intertwined with a playful 8-bit synth are nothing short of magnetic, resulting in a soundscape that is bold at the same time as being celestial and cosmic. Needless to say, we are completely in awe of the output.
There is a masterful energy at play and there is a cinematic allure to be found within the construct of the track, perfect for a contemporary TV show score, like a climactic moment in Elite or even Netflix‘s brand new TV show, Olympo.
MEMBR cites Skrillex, Fred again.., and Knock2 as sonic influences, which we can feel manifest, but there is no doubt that the 20-year-old French DJ and producer hailing from Strasbourg, France is designing a universe of his very own.
He confesses, “At this moment, I wanted to share all my emotions in one song, this one is very special…”. We learn the that the track was produced at MEMBR‘s home studio and he even admits, “I made this track in my car most of the time, when I got some long breaks during my work.” He adds the advice, “No matter the studio, you can make it!”
