We previously featured Satellite Train when they took us on an emotive and transcendental trip with their single, Broken Heart, so when we heard that they talented band was back with Paralyzed, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Drawing us in with an immersive astral frequency, and expanding into a folk rock moment before evolving into more timeless rock guitar and drums soundscape, Satellite Train open Paralyzed with the instrumental mastery and captivating vocal timbre that we have come to love and appreciate from the band.
The song immediately showcases a high emotional quotient and intentional depth with its message. There is also an undeniable cinematic allure that makes Paralyzed perfect for numerous Hollywood synch deals.
In essence, Paralyzed is about feeling trapped by the notions of fear and sadness. We live in a reality where we might perceive the world as falling apart, and we might feel like we are being pulled down. The band share the sentiment that we are scared and feel alone, even when we try to call out for help.

The fear is so strong that it makes us feel frozen, as if we cannot move or even fight back – desperate for someone to hear them and help them. That said, there is also hope in Paralyzed. In the narrative driven track, an angel comes and reaches out to us.
The angel holds us and helps us feel safe again. Even though the fear is very strong, the angel’s comfort gives us strength to face another day. The song shows that even when we feel most alone and scared, there can still be someone or something that helps us through the darkness.
We always love what Satellite Train are manifesting, and raw authenticity that their music transmutes. We have added Paralyzed to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Satellite Train including Superstar and Wings, and anticipate future releases!
