By now, you will know that we have been actively supporting the rise of Carlos Ucedda, having featured his recent single releases and music video universe, so when we heard that the emerging talent was back with Black Rose – Your Chastity (Part Two), we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to explore his creative mindset once again.
Black Rose – Your Chastity (Part Two) opens with a subversive and industrial soundscape with dramatic elements including a dimensional synth and bold static bass. Atmospheric ad libs invite us further into his world, and reminds us of early Lady Gaga with the classic, “oh la la” riffs.
He confesses, “I was inspired by German House and Techno, and there’s a halo of Lady Gaga in the sound. This release reflects a new direction for me – still personal, but with a darker, electronic edge.”
The opus expands with Carlos’ philosophical vibe and immersive vocal design. There is an almost breakbeat meets techno element to the track with a plucked, rhythmic synth and textured toppers, fused with dramatic risers. The track is danceable, fierce and assertive.

We learn that the track serves as a sequel to Inflatable e-Doll, which was the first part of the story. Carlos tells us how the two releases are connected, but are also opposites, like yin and yang. This work, specifically, is about chastity. The intention is to explore how lost and alone people can feel.
With reference to the song’s deeper meaning and emotion intensity, he adds, “This work is about chastity – about how guilt, emotional obsession, and fear of loneliness can turn a relationship into a prison. It’s the shadow side of love, like a black rose discarded.”
The music video for the track feels like a scene from a Pedro Almodovar film, if you took acid. As always, Carlos shows off his unique style, and cerebral performance manner, further cementing his iconography.
