We recently featured Noah Kahlil for his song, Karma Collects, which served as a sonic exploration of universal truths. This is where our obsession with the rising artist began, so you can imagine how excited we were to hear his latest release, Cheba.
Cheba opens with a dimensional, guitar soundscape with wood-block adjacent percussive elements, expanding with a visual brand of story telling with quite a high octane pace and celestial, connected themes with referencing to a charming love connection with a person and one’s self.
Noah Kahlil‘s flow and delivery is sublime, he is a poet at heart and his high emotional quotient is tangible on Cheba. We love his lyrical prowess and the journey that he takes us on with his full moon vibes and captivating charm. The down-pitched final vocals are a nice touch that not online elevates the dynamism of the production, but leaves us yearning for more of Noah’s authentic energy.
We learn that Cheba is designed to speak to the artists and romantics. Noah says it is made for those who, “despite the external burdens of capitalism, follow their passions and live life to the fullest.” There is no doubt that Noah Kahlil creates with revolution in mind, and with a deep rooted sense of awareness and consciousness with the long game in mind.
In essence, the star’s body of work is a meditation on freedom and liberation, and this manifests in his visual universe too. The video for Cheba sees Noah filmed by Ben Stoll, living his purpose out in the streets, under the palm trees, during the golden hour, showcasing his liberated frequency and showing us that anything is possible.
We have added Cheba to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TRIPPY and TIMELESS playlists, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Noah Kahlil, including Candy, and Karma Collects.
