We have been intently following the rise of Harpa for quite some time, having previously featured her self-realized nature on the transcendental, Gone, and the emotive and vulnerable, Hollow, so when we heard that the talented rising artist was back with The End, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Drawing us in with an optimistic guitar melody and situational prose as she reflects on lost time, pain, loneliness and heartbreak. The opus reminds us of early Alanis Morissette, and expands with a dimensional soft rock energy to tap into our heart’s centre as Harpa shares her soul and authenticity with us.
The message of the song switches up to catharsis and an almost empowering vibe as Harpa sets her boundaries and taps into her own power, free of burdens and full of liberation. We love thew vocal echo ad libs and Harpa‘s range is not only sublime, but laced with heightened emotion as the song evolves.

Fans of Kelly Clarkson will also be able to connect with what Harpa is manifesting on The End. The piano performance emotes on an even higher frequency and showcases Harper’s stadium ready energy. The finale is absolutely out of this world as Harpa sings the hook, “the end of everything…” accompanied by an arrangement that feels anthemic and empowering.
Harpa confesses that the intention of the song is to leave us feeling complete and The End does just that! The rising star also tells us that after meeting her “soulmate”, she found herself “unable to write songs, as there was nothing left to long for”. She adds, “I couldn’t ask for more.” This authenticity transmutes deeply on the song!
Naturally, we have added The End to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Harpa‘s growing discography including the Radio Edit of the song, and see what the future holds for the talented creator who seems to be fulfilled with life as we know it!
