Drawing us in with an emotive and intricate guitar soundscape with tonality reminiscent of some of the most iconic songs of the 80s, Michellar opens LOVE EARTH with a delicate timbre as she sings introspectively, “It’s all about the giving and taking, what you question we’re asking… It’s all about the changes and chances of what’s already happening…”
The opus expands with textured drums and detailed-driven percussion as Michellar, also known as Michelle Bond, shares an inquisitive quotient and proclaims, “the Earth is changing before us…” with a conscious depth. LOVE EARTH invites us to go inward, and expand our intention towards our shared home. The song holds an important message of oneness and cerebral awareness, which is also reflected in the accompanying artwork, which was also created my the multidisciplinary artist.
The call to action is zeitgeist as our planet faces environmental challenges. Michellar‘s deep and moving lyrics are written from her soul to remind us of “our collective responsibility to protect the Earth.”

We deeply connect with what Michellar is sharing, and can imagine that a live performance in her home city of San Francisco would feel very emotive and poignant with her celestial vocals and authenticity. Her poetic prowess really comes through and we feel connected to the universe and the artists at the same time. We indeed are all in this together.
There is an almost transcendental Dire Straits vibe to the electric guitar solos and we could see Michellar performing the song at a future Live Earth concert event or Massive Attack‘s Lido Festival. Fans of John Lennon would be able to connect with Michellar‘s sound, and fans of NEO 10Y‘s holistic message would be able to connect with her prophetic and intentional lyricism.
Naturally, we have added Michellar‘s LOVE EARTH to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and TIMELESS playlist, as we continue to stream the star’s growing discography, including Home Sweet Home, and Intersection.
