We have been following the rise of Proklaim for quite some time. The artist has been consistently releasing dimensional, genre expansive tracks which showcase his spiritual and emotional depth, as well as his epic flow. Naturally, when we learned that the Namibian superstar was back with CELEBRATE, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience!
Drawing us in with an ethereal sung performance of the hook, intricate piano and an immersive synthscape with Proklaim‘s signature ad lib of “yebo!”, CELEBRATE opens with the charismatic nuance that we have come to love from the visionary creator. His flow is intricate, profound, metaphorical and ancestral. We are awakened by his consciousness and ability to craft poetic prowess that transcends eras.
Fans of Kendrick Lamar and early Kanye West will be able to connect with the message and intention of CELEBRATE. We are hypnotised by the star’s magnetism and prophetic nature. The hooks are intertwined with spoken word moments that invite us to introspect and manifest our own power.

The West African style Afrobeat instrumental is nothing short of divine and we learn that CELEBRATE was recorded at Pen Pushaz Studios and mixed at Audio Art Namibia by Wojtek Majewski. Proklaim confesses how his vision for this single was to create “a warm and carefree vibe that listeners could simply enjoy.” This transmutes perfectly. As Proklaim continues to expand his artist vision, he emphasizes the importance of tapping into “the boundless imagination we all possessed as children.”
Proklaim tell us, “A song can shape a mood and direct a mind…”. This is the philosophical profoundness that we have come to appreciate from the star. He is a conscious artist and a visionary in his own lane, appealing to a wide audience and setting himself up as a an icon for generations to come.
We have added CELEBRATE to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Proklaim‘s growing discography, including JITTER, PANTHERA, LOVE LAVIDA, and LSD.
