ALEJ continues with depth, “As a result, I did what anyone would do when they go through a breakup, and that is stalking their ex on socials. That was probably a bad decision on my end because what I ended up seeing was a picture of my ex out at a bar with some other guy. This absolutely stabbed me in the heart because it was only about two weeks since we broke up. So this song is about kind of ruminating on seeing such a thing and feeling absolutely betrayed by it.”
