We recently featured Wavewulf as he shared an empowering message and teased his upcoming album with the intricate opus, Unbreakable Soul, so when we heard that the talented creator had just released In Every Blue, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Establishing the mood with an 8-bit synth melody with trap adjacent drums, Wavewulf opens In Every Blue with contemplative lyrics and vocals from Nala Spark as she sings, “When the rain starts to pour, and the sky turns grey, when each door seems to close in your face, when the stars don’t align, you had a bad a day…”
The opus expands with hope and the hook, “We will be there, for you, we’ll keep you safe, in every blue…”, and we swiftly learn that the song is an ode to friendship and oneness, which can also be reflected in the idea of connecting with the universe.
We appreciate the production switch-ups and astral synth riffs that tap into the overarching optimistic nature of the message. The manner in which Wavewulf has sound designed the opus with analogue synthesizers and drum-machines showcases authenticity, once again, in line with the overarching concept of the track.
In Every Blue is another track from Wavewulf‘s upcoming albumĀ Unbreakable Soul. It stands out as a reassuring anthem, and its soothing melodies and heartfelt lyrics offer a sense of comfort and solidarity, making it a cathartic and healing experience for listeners.
The essence of In Every Blue lies in its celebration of companionship and the unwavering support friends provide during challenging times. The song’s gentle, rhythmic beats and ethereal synth layers create a serene atmosphere, enveloping the listener in a warm embrace. The lyrics speak to the enduring bond between friends, highlighting how these relationships can offer solace and strength, even in the darkest moments.
Listening to In Every Blue feels profoundly cathartic because it taps into the universal human need for connection and understanding. The song acts as a reminder that, despite life’s struggles, we are never truly alone. The reassurance found in the lyrics and the calming musical arrangement can evoke a sense of peace, helping listeners process their emotions and find comfort in knowing that they have friends who care.
We love what Wavewulf is creating, and have added In Every Blue to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our brand new TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Unbreakable Soul and Echo In The Dark, and anticipate the remainder of the upcoming album!
