By now you will know that we are super fans of mastermind producer, Ozzient, having featured a slew of his collaborative releases, so when we heard that the dynamic creator was back with The One, we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Drawing us in with a celestial, rising guitar with glitched nuances, The One opens with an emotive vocal performance from LandoIsLiving as he shares introspective depth, lyrical smarts and elements of his lived reality.
The opus expands with KiERAN‘s fierce flow, taking us on a consciously aligned journey with his touching word and assertive themes. This leads us back to LandoIsLiving before Zenodro shares his ethereal presence, tapping into a more transcendental energy. Finally, Øverdrive tugs at our heart strings with his high emotional quotient. At this point, the production takes on a more atmospheric vibe with psychedelic detailing that amplifies the overarching sonic experience.
Speaking on the message of The One, Ozzient tells us, “This track is about someone who was once friends with the another person but turned into an enemy. The lyrics talk about not trusting them and not needing their reasons for leaving. The song is about rising above negativity and focusing on personal growth. The lyrics also touch on the idea of not letting haters bring you down. It’s a confident and empowering track!”
Listening to The One offers emotional benefits that inspire, uplift, and empower us. The song carries messages of resilience, hope, and self-worth, offering a source of comfort and encouragement during challenging times, a tale to help us navigate life with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism.
We love the intentional manner in which Ozzient creates, and have added The One to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Ozzient ‘s wider discography, and anticipate future releases from the artist.
