The relatable dance pop track expands with charm and vivid, situational prose as we are taken on a euphoric journey. The chord changes are perfectly designed to evoke maximum emotion, with textured drum fills, psychedelic nuances and high synths. The melodic depth of the track is tangible, and we appreciate the consistency of the dynamic nature of the composition, something that we have come to expect from Astralix.
We love the meditative middle eight and soaring vocals, before a refined rebuild and an anthemic finale. The creators confess to being inspired by EDM legends such as Avicii, David Guetta, Marshmello, and Swedish House Mafia, which certainly comes though with Crazy World, although there is no doubt that Gary Dranow, Chris Zoupa and Louie Dupont are manifesting a sound of their own.
The opus oozes sonic innovation, from the first note to the final immersive synth for closure. Speaking on the release, the creators tell us, “Music is not just an art form for us; it’s a journey through life’s highs and lows. Crazy World is our latest EDM offering. This song was crafted with the hope of resonating with everyone who finds interest in music and the stories and emotions it conveys.”
Crazy World is taken from Astralix‘s album, The Rhythm Fills My Soul. The collective of artists produce songs that tap into a plethora of themes including “love, heartbreak, dance, clubbing, and DJs’ repertoires.” Their musical offering is designed to reflect on their personal experiences, and individual and collective journeys.
We have added Crazy World to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Astralix‘s growing discography, including Lost and Found, Velocity, and Still Raining, as well as the title track of their album, The Rhythm Fills My Soul!
