JMS BRYNT invites us into his experimental and subversive universe with FỊŲ

“I’ve been repeatedly told my shit is sonically satisfying…” says JMS BRYNT candidly when discussing his own artistry, so when we heard that the rising creator had just released FỊŲ, we were curious to say the least and couldn’t wait to experience the track.

Setting the tone with astral, pitched ad libs and an enigmatic synth scape with an experimental nature, JMS BRYNT takes us on an evocative journey with his enigmatic sound.

The opus showcases poetic prowess, and a tangible uniqueness. We appreciate the “woo” nuances, and the subversive yet relatable prose. JMS BRYNT switches to a more natural flow for the finale of the opus which peaks our curiosity further, inviting us to hit replay.

When we asked the star what inspires him, he simply replied with “big booties”, uncannily this actually comes across with his verbiage, so we appreciate the honesty. He also says, “There’s probably pain in my voice, [because I’m a] sad boi.” This is touching and we can certainly feel the energy of a tortured artist come through in what JMS BRYNT has to deliver both sonically and lyrically.

Overall, FỊŲ‘s experimental nature is truly what makes it stand out. It seems abundantly clear that there is some nouveau Kanye West influence on the track too, but there is no doubt that JMS BRYNT is manifesting a universe of his own.

We have added FỊŲ to our brand new TRIPPY playlist, as well as our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream JMS BRYNT‘s growing discography on BandCamp, and anticipate future releases from the thought-provoking star.
