We recently covered a private psilohuasca retreat in Holland for Channel 4, and we are always encouraged to follow the evolution of consciousness and the countries that have legalized psilocybin mushrooms or truffles to treat mental health issues.
In the US, Oregon recently became the first state to officially authorize the use of “magic mushrooms”. Australia quickly followed, and since this summer, psilocybin and MDMA can be prescribed by psychiatrists for some mental illnesses.
In Europe, many countries, including the United Kingdom, are considering changing the law to allow the use of psilocybin. This mushroom is a game-changer in terms of mental health and spiritual expansion. Studies have shown that it has significant effects on depression, anxiety, and addiction… and one only needs to consume it once to see long-term results.
This is because psilocybin acts directly on the brain, where it boosts the connecting and repairing of the hippocampus cells, centre of the emotions and memories.
Psilocybin’s action allows a restructuring of negative thoughts and traumatic memories and reduces the intensity and the frequency of PTSD episodes. However, the medical or experimental status of these protocols can make access conditions sometimes restrictive and spots limited. In this context, one country on the old continent is nonetheless acting as a pioneer: the Netherlands, which has already authorized the free consumption of psilocybin truffles.
With the intention to democratise access to these substances and appeal to the British market, Tangerine Retreat is offering an English-speaking psilocybin retreat in the Netherlands – completely legal and in a safe environment.
To help veterans and current war victims (Ukraine, Middle East, terror attacks), Tangerine Retreat has also decided to make some of their retreats free to them.
The initiative is founded by former patient and now a caregiver, London-based entrepreneur Arnaud Beauregard, who has training in Ericksonian hypnosis, spiritual hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and EMDR. He possesses extensive experience in the therapy of anxiety and depression.
