Setting the tone with a vibrant and expansive guitar melody with spoken word, textured ad libs, Toby Tesla opens Red Flags with intrigue and dimensionality before sharing emotive and philosophical prose.
The opus expands with an intentional nature, intricate vocal design to take us on an evocative journey as the star showcases a dynamic flow and a thought-provoking, relatable message.
Speaking on the creative process of Red Flags, the rising artist from Phoenix, Arizona confesses, “This release is a personal favorite of mine. I did the production and engineering on it.”
Toby Tesla adds with reference to his artistry and future, “I’ve been making music since 2015, working with lots of names across Phoenix on music and art alike. This upcoming year I will be doing a lot of performances, and I have a few video releases scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.”
What we love about Red Flags is the immersive tapestry of sound that the talented multi-disiciplinary artist delivers, as well as his ability to take a relatable concept and make it his own. His raw authenticity is tangible, and needless to say, we cannot get enough.
Naturally, we have added Red Flags to our New Music Spotlight playlist, as well as our brand new TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream Toby Tesla’s wider discography, and anticipate future releases from the talented creator.
