Love Ghost is one of the hardest working and determined bands in the industry. They come through with fire release after fire release, and lead singer Finnegan Bell‘s tenacity is only rivalled by his talent.
Drawing us in with a warm electric guitar soundscape, Love Ghost and Ritorukai open their joint single, Human Error 404 with the instrumental mastery that we have come to expect from Love Ghost. The subversive nature is there, whilst thought-provoking prose in English and Spanish take us on a journey of self reflection.
Speaking on the message of the track, Love Ghost and Ritorukai tell us, “The lyrics address themes of alienation and the feeling of not fitting in with society.”
The creators cite Radiohead and Linkin Park as sonic influences for the opus, which we can feel come through in its design, although the contemporary nature and the bilingual fusion puts Human Error 404 in a league of its own.
Naturally, Human Error 404 comes with an action packed music video, something that we can always rely on Love Ghost to come through with. The cinematography is out of this world, and both artists share evocative and fierce performances together and solo. We love the grade of the music video, with a dark Steven Klein esque vibe to really bring the message of the track to life!
We have added Human Error 404 to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discographies of both artists, and anticipate future releases and the campaign roll out for the single, which includes a collaboration with the Canal_MX agency in Mexico, with a significant focus on rock radio in Mexico City!
