We previously featured BIAS when he teamed with Lorenzo “Montaxx” Montanari on a cover of The Police’s iconic song, Can’t Stand Losing You, so when we heard that the talented producer was back with Ogni Istante, we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Drawing us in with a subversive and industrial soundscape, BIAS opens Ogni Istante with an emotive vocal performance and philosophical lyricism, and needless to say, we are captivated.
We immediately appreciate the star’s charismatic delivery and and the subversive static elements that form a bridge between his magnetic vocals. The opus showcases instrumental ingenuity, fusing elements of dark wave and noise rock.
The electric guitar solo finale is simply out of this world, and it is rare to experience a fade out in modern compositions, so once again, we are impressed by this innovative approach to song creation.
We learn that Ogni Istante was inspired by a trip to Iceland and “born right among the melancholic moors of the northern European country.” The Imola-based producer and composer confesses, “A trip to Iceland is not simply a vacation. Its endless variety of colors and majestic, silent landscapes go straight to the heart, inspiring strong emotions in an incredible intimate experience between man and nature.”
Alongside the release, the visionary composer presents “a declaration of love at a distance”, in the form of a poem written by the author himself, which is featured in the graphic above.
Ogni Istante is produced and engineered by BIAS, and mixed and mastered by Michele Suzzi. We have added Ogni Istante to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream BIAS’s cover of Can’t Stand Losing You and anticipate future releases from the star.
