Our obsession with Moon and Aries seems to grow with every listen, so when we heard that Jordana and Tom had released Blurred Vision, we were curious and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Drawing us in with a dimensional soundscape featuring a boundless synth melody, choral vocal textures and textured percussion, Blurred Vision opens with a stunning performance from Jordana Moon as she invites us to close our eyes, whilst she shares conscious and philosophical lyricism.
The opus expands with the instrumental mastery that we have come to love from the duo, laced with astral intricacies and cosmic detailing. Speaking on their artistry as a whole, the German-Canadian creative pair confess, “Moon and Aries hope to hook you into [a] sensual, uplifting and spiritually charged Universe of sound.” We know from experience that Jordana Moon and Tom Aries have “a deep driving desire to raise the vibrations and activate a higher version of reality with their music”, and Blurred Vision is no exception.
Elaborating on the release of their latest composition, Moon and Aries tell us, “Blurred Vision is a song about finally gaining clarity through surrender. We will never see the full picture of this Universe all at once, but even a simple glimpse can tell you an infinite story.” They add, “Blurred Vision transcends what our eyes see and invites us into the wisdom and truth of beingness.”
We always appreciate the intentional depth that Moon and Aries convey with their artistry, and the magnetic and ethereal nature of their soundscape. Naturally, we have added Blurred Vision to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Moon and Aries!
