The dedication and consistency that Love Ghost demonstrate with their release schedule is simply unparalleled. Finnegan Bell and his talented band have just teamed up with Latin Grammy nominee BrunOG, and Mexican artist, FLVCKKA to bring to life their latest offering, Haunted House.
Setting the tone with a cerebral frequency and subversive electric guitar riff, Haunted House opens with intrigue and a sonic landscape reminiscent of MySpace-era / Hollywood Undead alternative rock energy, with a touch of emo rap and dark pop to truly complete the vision for the opus. Needless to say, we are OBSESSED.
FLVCKKA‘s presence on the track is exquisite and we appreciate her flow, and the empowering and self-aware elements of the prose shared. The acid guitar is contagious, and we can only imagine how much of a trip this would be to experience live.
Just as well, Haunted House comes with a music video to bring to life the charismatic nature of the song, as Finnegan and FLVCKKA deliver a Bonnie & Clyde style vibe whilst inviting us to “f*** the haters!”
We learn that Love Ghost’s Finnegan Bell is currently in Mexico writing and recording with many Latin artists, including Dan Garcia, Ritorukai, Go Golden Junk, Phyzh Eye, Jozue, Young Dupe, Blnko and many others.
Producers the band is working with in Mexico include Shantra (Santa Fe Klan’s latest album), BrunOG (Latin Grammy nominee) and SAGA. They have several other songs coming this year including Dopeman with Ghana Afrobeat artist Camidoh, and Do you Like Me Now with Cinnamon Babe.
We have added Haunted House to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discographies of both FLVCKKA and Love Ghost!
