We previously featured BEECH LOVE as he took us on an evocative trip with the empowering single, Fire & Smoke, so when we heard that the star had returned with Pieces, we couldn’t wait to listen and feed back.
Establishing the mood with a dimensional guitar bass line, BEECH LOVE opens Pieces with his signature brooding vocal as he shares the self-referential prose, “I set it all on fire, yes I’ll take the ride, when my excuses run dry, put ‘em in overdrive, I left high and dry, hardly a sacrifice, this I know, this I know, this I know, but what do I know? What do I know? Where do I go? Where do I go?”
We immediately connect with the expansion of the artist’s sonic universe and lyrical nod to Fire & Smoke, as Pieces serves as a continuation of the rising star’s narrative.
The composition evolves with an anthemic energy and passion as BEECH LOVE shares his spirit and soul with us. Naturally, Pieces comes with a stunning black and white music video which features a powerful performance from the visionary creator as he brings to life his emotions.
Speaking on the release of Pieces, BEECH LOVE says, “I strive to make each record better than the last. I see every release as an opportunity to improve my skills and elevate my brand to new heights.”
He continues, “Pieces is an especially big step for me because it is my entrance into the Alternative Rock genre. It was actually a huge adjustment learning to make rock music after spending my entire career making dance/pop music. I had to completely change the way I make music in order to make the switch. Nonetheless, I feel very “at home” with my new sound and look forward to making my mark as an alternative rock artist.”
BEECH LOVE is inspired by bands such as The Killers, The Black Keys, and Thirty Seconds To Mars, which we appreciate in his sound, although there is no denying that what the star is creating is unique to his own design.
We have added Pieces to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream BEECH LOVE wider discography, and anticipate future releases from the visionary nineteen year old.
