Setting the tone with an immersive synthscape and dance ad libs singing, “I need…”, Vallac opens Alone 2night with a textured riser and dimensional melody.
The opus expands with instrumental mastery to take us on an evocative journey with a clean vocal and the empowering lyrics, “I need some time alone tonight… This life is hard to get on by… I’ve given up so many times, but I am stronger than my pride…”
We love the string chops and industrial bass line, and connect with the intricate nature of the composition which breaks into a fierce rap verse showcasing the dynamic energy that Vallac has to offer.
We learn that Vallac was inspired by the music of the 90s, and wanted to go back to his memories as a teenager. He tells us that the message he wants to relay with music is “a unifying force, a source of joy and connection, and something that can be indulged freely and passionately even dancing alone in a room…”
Alone 2night touches on the power of music to move and inspire people, suggesting that the rhythm of music can save us, free the mind and imagination that each of us possesses!
We love the intention that Vallac creates with, and have added Alone 2night to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Vallac‘s wider discography including Millennials, and Fake Love.
